ServiceMaster Restore of Durham - Disaster Restoration Services

Founded by Paul Horning in 1991, over the last two decades we have built a strong and diverse team with a wealth of knowledge and a strong presence in the community.  ServiceMaster Restore of Durham is an IICRC Certified Firm, and we ensure that each Estimator and Crew Chief is current with their individual IICRC certifications.  This experience enables us to facilitate the challenging needs of the disaster restoration industry in the most professional manner.

Service Features

ServiceMaster Restore of Durham restores damage to properties caused by fire, water, mould, wind, vandalism and vehicle impact.  The following features are included in our service:

24 hour Emergency Response

Emergency crews will be on-site within 4 hours of the initial go ahead.  Extraction of water; board-up and securing in the case of vandalism and/or break and entry; wind and/or vehicle impact, is all part of our services and completed in a timely fashion.

Post-disaster and pre-construction cleaning

Our highly trained cleaning staff is trained to use appropriate cleaning methods for all different types of surfaces, Eco-friendly cleaning products are available.

Damage assessments and repair estimates

Our building estimators inspect damage thoroughly in order to identify all repairs necessary and provide an accurate estimate of repair costs

Complete restoration and reconstruction

Our tradesmen apply a wealth of knowledge and skill to produce high-quality, finished results every time.

Reporting

Our estimators report progress and respond to any questions or concerns of both, the adjuster and property owner.

On and off-site meetings

Our estimators encourage meetings between all parties involved to discuss projects or to resolve any issues that may arise.

Contents removal, warehousing, inventory, cleaning and delivery

ServiceMaster Restore has the facility to remove as required all insured's contents from the damaged property. We will store them in our warehouse, itemize them in detail, and clean them as required and return contents to the insured.  If necessary, the owner is welcome to visit our location to view our contents process and/or to retrieve certain items.

Our Pledge

ServiceMaster Restore of Durham pledges that all claims will be subject for inspection within 24 hours of receiving it.  In the case of an afterhours emergency, a telephone response will be given within 15 minutes and technicians will be dispatched and be on site within four hours.

The company's vehicles receive regular maintenance to ensure a prompt arrival and can be clearly identified by the ServiceMaster logo, colours, and our phone number.

Location

ServiceMaster Restore of Durham expanded its operation to its' present location in May 2001.  The office area has been carefully designed, decorated and furnished to accommodate all business activities in a professional, yet comfortable manner.  Our warehouse, 10,000 square feet, has secured areas in order to complete off-site restoration projects.  Additional storage space is also available for larger volumes of content. Our location includes a construction, emergency, and content cleaning bay, hydroxyl room for smoke odour removal and content storage lockers.
